Children’s Minister

Addison has been serving in the ministry since she was in junior high when she began singing and playing piano in her youth group worship band. In her freshman year of high school, she began teaching Children’s Choir and leading VBS classes at the church she grew up in. Which sparked her love for Children’s Ministry.

Addison was born in a small town of 3,000 people an hour south of Houston, TX. She was raised at the First Baptist Church of Brazoria where both of her parents remain active in multiple ministries to this day. At the age of 5, Addison realized that she did not want to be separated from God and wanted to accept His love, at this time she prayed to receive Christ asking Him to forgive her of her sins and come into her heart. She was active in many church programs such as AWANA and Children’s Choir from this point on. In these programs, the foundations of her faith were built and she learned to serve in the church and prioritize Christ above all. It is because of the foundational and strong Children’s Ministry she was raised that she is so passionate about this ministry and sharing Christ with kids.

Addison met her husband Joshua in March of 2019 and they were married on March 7th of 2020. They moved to the DFW area in August 2020 and began attending and serving at CBC in April of 2021. Together they enjoy hiking, traveling, and anything competitive. Addison loves playing piano and singing, sewing, cooking, scrapbooking, collecting antiques, and playing with her two nieces. Side note: you are guaranteed to always find her drinking coffee!

Her prayer is that the children of CBC would come to know and accept the love of God and grow into strong servants of God!
