Life Story

Pastor Don has been serving in ministry for over thirty years. He graduated from Florida Bible College in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major, Biblical Education and Theology. He minored in both Youth Education and Psychology.

He married the love of his life, Laurie shortly after he graduated. They served together in ministry at two different churches in Florida, until God called them to Texas for Pastor Don to attend Dallas Theological Seminary. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1998 with a Masters of Theology degree with a major in pastoral studies. Pastor Don accepted the call of God to be Senior Pastor for Christ Cornerstone Church in 1995. In 2003 Christ Cornerstone Church merged with Friendship Bible Church and became Cornerstone Bible Church,where Pastor Don continued to serve as Senior Pastor. Recently he celebrated his 25 year anniversary of serving in ministry at CBC.

He and his wife, Laurie have been married for over 35 years. They enjoy serving in ministry together. The Lord has blessed them with three children and 4 grandchildren.

Hope for Cornerstone Bible Church

My hope for Cornerstone Bible Church is that we will love God, each other and those who do not know Him. I believe God’s word teaches us how to be molded into a tool that can be used in His mighty hand to accomplish His will. We as a Church are the body of Christ and His representation to a world that desperately needs Him. As we love each other, we are a manifestation of God’s love. I want our church to help believers to live with passion and purpose, growing in the knowledge and love of God.
